As part of the Etats de la Recherche organized by the SMF , the session HAB2016 is devoted to Harmonic Analysis and Partial Differential Equations. In recent years we have seen a very rapid evolution of knowledge and new techniques employed in these areas. The goal of this session is to present some of these recent advances in depth through the mini-course format. Several one hour talks will complete this panorama. The program will leave time for informal discussions among participants and speakers. The mini-courses will be accessible to PhD students and students at the M2 level (Master second year).
This session will take place
and is organized by Pascal Auscher (Université Paris-Sud), Frédéric Bernicot (CNRS - Université de Nantes), El Maati Ouhabaz (Université de Bordeaux), Stefanie Petermichl (Université Toulouse III) and Emmanuel Russ (Université Grenoble Alpes).
Program:
Extremizers and stability for affine-invariant inequalities
Hankel operators, the cubic Szegö equation and wave turbulence
Sharp norm estimates for singular integrals
Riesz transforms and the role of Poincaré inequalities
An intrinsic Harnack inequality for the linearized parabolic Monge-Ampère equation
Sharp Hardy-type estimates for Riesz transforms on some manifolds of negative curvature
Lower bounds for fractional Riesz transforms and the Wolff energy
This workshop is financially supported jointly by the ANR project HAB and the ERC project FAnFArE as well as the Labex Lebesgue .
