Knot concordance and low-dimensional manifolds

Knot concordance and low-dimensional manifolds
June 17–21, 2019, Le Croisic, France.

The goal of this conference is to strengthen the European low-dimensional topology network by bringing together researchers interested in knot concordance, and to favour the interaction with neighbouring subjects (e.g. contact topology, symplectic topology, singularity theory).

Schedule and poster: schedule and abstracts are now available here; a poster is available here.

Registration and funding: due to space limitation at the venue, we will only be able to welcome a limited number of participants. We therefore ask everyone to register here, and to wait for confirmation before making travel arrangements. The deadline for registration is March 31, 2019.

Travel information: Le Croisic is served by the airport of Nantes Atlantique (NTE), and by Paris airports. We recommend flying into Nantes, but flying to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is also possible, with a train connection Le Croisic (possibly with a change within Paris and one in Nantes—we advise to check the SNCF website for train connections).

Organisers: Anthony Conway (anthonyyconway (at) gmail.com) and Marco Golla (marco.golla (at) univ-nantes.fr). You can email us at nantes.concordance (at) univ-nantes.fr
