Involutions
in gauge theory and algebraic geometry

Summer school on Involutions
May 30–June 2, 2023
University of Nantes

There will be two mini-courses: one by Matilde Manzaroli (University of Tübingen) on real algebraic curves and one by Christopher Scaduto (University of Miami) on gauge theory. There will be an exercise session for each course.

Topics: Real algebraic curves, 4-manifolds with boundary, involutions.

Schedule: All lectures will be held at the Campus Sciences of the University of Nantes, in Building 26, Room 112 (Bâtiment 26, Amphithéâtre 112).
Title and abstracts for all talks are available here.
Lunch will be at the university cafeteria, but you're free to look for alternatives (you can ask me or the locals once you're here).

Travel information: Nantes has an international airport and a train station that is well connected to Paris. Note that Google Maps might not have accurate or complete data on local transportation within Nantes; you can look up bus and tram schedules on the TAN webpage, where you can also plan a trip. Notably, from the airport to the centre there are two options.

In both cases you can buy a ticket on board, and it remains valid for an hour.

Organisers: Erwan Brugallé and Marco Golla. You can email us at (math.summer-school (at) univ-nantes.fr) for further information.
