    These are the slides from a talk that I've given at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, at a mini-conference in honour of András Stipsicz. It's intended for a wide mathematical audience.

    These are the slides from a talk that I've given at the Rényi Institute for the Junior Colloquium. It's intended for a wide matematical audience, and is a brief sketch of the Kauffman states approach to knot Floer homology.
