The symplectisation is the trivial symplectic cobordism, and it contains trivial cylindrical Lagrangian counterparts. We show that an arbitrary exact Lagrangian cobordism in the symplectisation is similar to a trivial one in the sense that its induced Viterbo transfer map for fillings always is an isomorphism. We deduce applications and also put the result in the context of a related vanishing of a hypothetical Fukaya category of Lagrangian cobordisms.
