In recent years, Optimal Transport (OT) has established itself as an influential mathematical tool. In particular, OT has been successfully applied to a wide variety of fields. In this presentation, we will discuss several of these applications, notably in geometry, differential equations and  applied mathematics.  Rather than focusing on technical details, the aim of this presentation is to provide a general and intuitive picture of the subject.
